In-home Dog Training Lessons

One-on-One Instruction - allows for scheduling flexibility in the comfort of your own home.  You have the option to follow one of the standard class outlines or you can mix-n-match skills from two or more of the standard class outlines. 

The Jump-Start - perfect for people with busy schedules.  I go to your home and train your dog while you are at work or play.  

Rate:  Private lessons are $100/hour with a 1-hour minimum. Fee includes written explanations of each exercise and recommended homework.  Travel fees may apply.  Purchase a package of  6 or more lessons and receive a 10% discount.

In-home Smart Start Consultations

Whether you're planning to adopt or have recently adopted a puppy or dog, a Smart Start Consult will help ensure you get started on the right path with your new companion.  During this consult, I help you understand your dogs basic needs and how to meet them; how to set boundaries and expectations for your new friend and how to create a 'game plan' that everyone in the household can agree to and take part in.  Learn how to prevent bad habits from developing and teach household manners from the start.

Rate: $100/hour with a 1-hour minimum and typically last 90-minutes. Travel fees may apply.

In-home Behavior Consultations

Problem behaviors come in all different shapes and sizes.  The good new is - most of them can be modified and replaced with acceptable behaviors. 

Behavior problems involving aggression, anxiety and fear 'require' an initial in-home appointment. During these consultations,  I evaluate your situation, interview family members, observe the dog, and discuss with you the extent and probable causes of the problem.  My behavior modification plans include management and training solutions that, when used together, provide the best results.  Behavior modification methods will be demonstrated and you will receive  "homework" at the end of the visit.

Rate:  $100/hour with a 1-hour minimum and typically last 90-minutes to 2-hours.  Travel fees may apply. Follow-up sessions, if needed, are typically 1 hour in length.
