Group Dog Training Classes 

Bingo! Dog Training specializes in small classes with lots of individual attention.  Group classes are a wonderful, affordable way to work with your dog while learning the basics.  They are also a great way to help your dog learn to focus on you amidst a variety of distractions.  Classes run year around in Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley and Watsonville.  View Public Class Schedule.  Private Services are also available.

THE BASICS - LEVEL ONE

(For Puppies and Dogs) 

Basic handling, manners and obedience skills taught in this class:

  • Handling Exercises

  • Attention Exercises

  • Settle

  • Come

  • Loose Leash Walking

  • Sit and Sit-Stay

  • Down and Down-Stay

  • Anti-Jumping Exercises

  • Take It

  • Drop It

  • Wait (wait at gates and doors)

  • Leave It

THE BASICS - LEVEL TWO

In this class we will build upon and solidify many of the skills introduced in the Level One course by adding more distractions, distance and duration.  We will also work on the following new skills:

  • By My Side (dog comes to your side at sits)

  • Heeling (dog walks beside you on leash)

  • The Emergency/Really Reliable Recall (dog comes to you instantly, no matter what's going on)

  • The Emergency Stay (dog stops at a distance and does not move until released)

  • Go To Your Bed (go to your place and lie down)

HEART-TICKLING-TRICKS

Is your dog a natural ham?  Does he seem bit bored lately?  Do you ever get the feeling that your dog has lots of untapped potential just waiting to be discovered?  If the answer to any of these questions is yes - a tricks class may be the perfect creative release for your dog!

Tricks taught in this class include:

  • Sit up

  • Shake

  • Weave Between Legs

  • High Five

  • Play Dead

  • Roll Over

  • Jump Over

  • Spin

  • Rewind

  • Crawl

  • Back-up

  • Find My Keys

  • Take a Bow
