The Basics - Level Two

For dogs who have completed The Basics - Level One course or equivalent. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations.

Each class is one hour a week for six weeks.  Family members of responsible age are welcome to attend.

Dogs must be registered prior to the first session. Your place in class is only guaranteed upon receipt of the completed Class Registration Form and payment in full.  The registration fee is $165 per dog and no refunds will be provided after the after the first session.

Please note: Group classes are for non-aggressive dogs.  Dogs that behave aggressively toward people or other dogs require Private Lessons.  If your dog is extremely shy Private Lessons that take place in your home are also the best place to start.

Class includes a manual and clicker.

Class Description

In this class we will build upon and solidify many of the skills introduced in the Level One Course by adding more distractions, distance and duration.  We will also work on the following new skills:

• By My Side (dog comes to your side at sits)
• Heeling (dog walks beside you on leash)
• The Emergency/Really Reliable Recall (dog comes to you instantly, no matter what's going on)
• The Emergency Stay (dog stops at a distance and does not move until released)
• Go To Your Bed (go to your place and lie down)
